Purpose:

Purpose of the report: Inclusion of carry over budgets from 2011/12 into 2012/13 capital programme, and amendments to scheme allocations where required to reflect latest cost estimates and scheme progress.
The Cabinet Member is asked to: Note the outturn figures for the 2011/12 capital programme, approve the carry over schemes and funding, and increase the current budget for the 2012/13

Decision:

 

RESOLVED:

That the Cabinet Member for Planning, Transport and Sustainability:

                     i.        Approved the carryover schemes and adjustments set out in Annexes 1 and 2.

                    ii.        Approved the increase to the 2012/13 CES capital programme budget, subject to the approval of the Cabinet.

                   iii.        Noted the outturn figures and scheme progress set out in Annexes 3 and 4 for the 2011/12 capital programme.

                  iv.        AQ03/11 Electric Vehicle Charging Points – Carry over £30k underspend from 11/12 to increase 12/13 budget to £60k by increasing overprogramming.

 

                   v.        CY06/12 Cycle Parking – Increase allocation by £25k to £40k (overprogramming increased) to provide additional cycle parking in city centre to match rising demand.

 

Reason: To enable to effective management and monitoring of the council’s capital programme.
