Purpose:
Purpose of report: To provide feedback on the recent Peer Review under the Equalities Framework for Local Government. The Cabinet Member is asked to note feedback and agree a way forward to reach "Excellent" under the framework.
This item has been slipped to the October meeting as information for the report will not be received until after the September meeting date.
Decision:
The Cabinet Member received a report which informed her of the outcome of the Local Government Information and Development Diversity peer challenge which took place on 26 and 27 July 2011.
RESOLVED: That the report be noted.
REASON: So that the Council can put in place an action plan to achieve ‘Excellent’ under the Equality Framework for Local Government (EFLG).
