Outside body

Purpose:

A registered charity set up in 1988 to provide transport services for the benefit of the community.  The service is aimed at people who are disabled, elderly or have mobility problems who cannot afford other modes of transport.

York Wheels is managed by a board with representatives from City of York Council, staff, volunteers and customers.

Meetings:

Meetings are held once a month at York Hospital.  They are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6.00pm.

Conditions:

Must be a Councillor, subs are not permitted.
