Consultation process

During discussions with York and North Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) officers, the preference is to maintain existing bus service provision and, when sufficient staff resource is in place, transfer any existing bus contracts in place to the MCA. If, on review, this position changes there is a six-month termination clause in the contract should the MCA or the Council decide they wish to stop running the service or significantly change the contract.
