Petition concerning the bench previously located at Stockton Lane/Hempland Lane Junction
Purpose of the report: In response to a
petition from residents, requesting that a bench be returned to its
original location at the junction of Stockton Lane and Hempland
Lane, the report examines the background issues leading up to the
removal of the bench and the views of the local community, to
assess if it would be in the overall public interest to reinstate
it. The Cabinet Member is asked to decide if the bench should be
re-installed in its original position.
