Request to relocate roadside bin on Bad Bargain Lane to a safer location
The roadside bin was originally located at the corner of Bramley Garth and Bad Bargain Lane. It has since been relocated further along Bad Bargain Lane, which is a narrow country lane with limited visibility.
The bin’s current position is on or close to the carriageway and creates a potential hazard for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and farm traffic, particularly at night or in poor weather conditions. Vehicles are required to slow or alter their course to pass safely, increasing the risk of an accident.
This petition requests that the Council carry out a safety review of the current location and relocate the bin to a safer position, such as its previous location or another suitable area off the carriageway, while still allowing residents to access it.
