Advice of the Advisory Panel

That the Executive Member be advised to:

(i)                 Note the report on the annual performance assessment of adult social care by Commission for Social Care Inspection.

(ii)               Agree to receive an Improvement Plan in January or February 2009.

Decision of the Executive Member

RESOLVED:That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.

REASON:      (i)         To ensure that improvements achieved in 2006/7 are recognised by the Council and the Members are aware of the areas highlighted for improvement.

(ii) To ensure that progress is being made on the Key Areas for Development.
