Purpose:
Purpose of Report: To propose a new approach
to developing a vision for Explore Centres and Explore Gateways
within the Library Service and set out arrangements for
consultation on the vision.
The Cabinet Member is asked to agree the new approach and
consultation arrangements.
Decision:
RESOLVED: (i) That the Head of Service be instructed to
develop a community engagement plan along the lines set out in paragraph 9 of the report.
(ii) That revised staffing arrangements be implemented to deliver the proposed approach, as set out in paragraphs 13 and 15 of the report.
REASON: So that the library service can continue to develop its Explore vision.
