Outside body

Purpose:

Yorwaste is a forward thinking waste management company servicing the needs of the communities and industries in and around North Yorkshire and York.

It aspires to deliver to stakeholders a high quality, environmentally sound economically beneficial service which is sustainable in the long term.

Membership:

City of York Council representative is a Director of the company.

Meetings:

Yorwaste have quarterly Board meetings and in addition Yorwaste presents to the CYC scrutiny Committee several times a year.
