30/04/2026 - TSAR Traffic Signal Refurbishment – Junction of Clifton Moor Gate and Water Lane
The project was initiated in 2024 and is
focused on renewal of the existing traffic signal control
infrastructure as the junction is currently among the worst
condition traffic signal sites across CYC assets.
The project is currently intended for delivery in January 2027 with
an anticipated cost of £400k.
Decision:
To approve Traffic Signal Renewal works at the junction of Clifton
Moor Gate and Water Lane.
The reason for these works being to ensure that the junction can
continue to be operated effectively and improve active travel
facilities in the area.
