Innovate UK have awarded additional funding
(£149,932) to City of York Council to extend the
Retrofit-One-Stop-Shop for York (ROSSY) project by 4 months (to end
of March 2026).
The funding will be used to expand the YorEnergy model to other
regions of England through promotional material and roadshows; and
also explore the legal, financial and procurement mechanisms for
the ongoing delivery of YorEnergy in York and City of York
Council’s ongoing involvement in the partnership.
Options Considered:
•Do not accept the funding and leave the
YorEnergy partnership at the end of the current Innovate UK funded
project.
•Do not accept the funding and finance the activity from
council budget.
