Outside body

Purpose:

The Valuing People Partnership is an open forum for people with learning disabilities and for those who work with them.  The Partnership is a sub group of the Health and Wellbeing Board.  This is on open group with no restricted membership.

Meetings:

Meetings are held bi-monthly.  The Board welcomes anyone with learning disabilities or anyone who works with them.

Note: The Board has not met since June/July 2014 and feedback received suggested that, in its current guise, the Board was not working. The decision was therefore made to disband the Board and look at alternative ways of engaging with the Learning Disability community. This is currently in progress as part of the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Partnership Board’s work.
