Description
York Climate Commission
The York Climate Commission (YCC) is an independent, cross-sector body representing public, private and civic organisations across the city. Originally established in 2019 following York’s Climate Emergency declaration, it was re-launched in 2024 to improve transparency and broaden participation. YCC supports ambitious action on climate and nature recovery by facilitating collaboration, sharing knowledge and championing impactful initiatives through its Working Groups.
