Loan to Science City York
Purpose of report: To seek approval of a loan
of £50,000 to Science City York company limited by guarantee
to assist with its cashflow whilst drawing down external funding.
This will support the development of Science City York and the
contribution it makes to the City and the Council's corporate
objectives.
The Leader (Executive Member for Economic Development) is asked to
recommend* that the Executive approve a
loan of £50,000 in accordance with a facility agreement.
*Note this recommendation will be considered at Executive on 9 September under urgent business
