Middlethorpe currently holds a license for the solemnization of Marriages and Registration of Civil Partnership. The license is coming to an end and after completing the licensing process it is appropriate to reissue the license for a further 3 years.

The period covered is from 13/10/2024 and continue, subject to revocation until the 12/10/2027.

No reason has been found not to renew this license, holding marriages and civil partnerships in York contributes to the council’s income and the local economy.
