Purpose of committee

YMT Remit: To assist in the establishment of a new legal framework for the relationship between City of York Council and York Museums Trust (YMT), to reflect new funding levels, foster a strong relationship between the Council and YMT, facilitate investment and allow better protection of the museums assets.
