This report updates the Executive Member and Advisory Panel on the Treasury Management performance for the period 1 April to 31 October 2007 compared against the budget presented to Council on 21 February 2007.

Decision:
Advice of the Advisory Panel
That the Executive Member be advised:
(i) That the performance of the Treasury Management Activity be noted and welcomed;
(ii) That the projected underspend of £1.756m be noted and welcomed;
(iii) That the movements in the Prudential Indicators be noted and welcomed.
Decision of the Executive Member
RESOLVED:That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.
REASON:To ensure the continued performance of the Council’s Treasury Management function.
Minutes:
Members considered a report which updated the Executive Member and Advisory Panel on the Treasury Management performance for the period 1 April to 31 October 2007 compared against the budget presented to Council on 21 February 2007.
Treasury Management activity was contained within the Corporate Budget and had a current approved budget of £7,407k. The projected outturn was £5,651k resulting in a estimated under spend of £1,756k.
Advice of the Advisory Panel
That the Executive Member be advised:
(i) That the performance of the Treasury Management Activity be noted;
(ii) That the projected underspend of £1.756m be noted;
(iii) That the movements in the Prudential Indicators be noted.
Decision of the Executive Member
RESOLVED:That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.
