Purpose:
Purpose of Report: To update Cabinet on progress with Smarter York. Members will be asked to agree a Smarter Charter.
This item was deferred from November to December Cabinet in order to develop a ‘Smarter Charter’. The report was then slipped to the January meeting as the directorate had a large number of other reports being presented to the December meeting. The report will now be taken to Cabinet in February to allow more time for development. The report has slipped to the March Cabinet to allow more time for development.
Decision:
RESOLVED: That Cabinet agree to:
i) Note progress to date with Smarter York.
ii) Approve the “Smarter Charter” as set out at Annex 1 of the report.
REASON: To make York an even better place to live.
