Purpose:
Purpose of the report: The report outlines options for the local authority to ban the use of mosquito devices as a mechanism to address anti-social behaviour involving young people in York.
The Cabinet Member is asked to consider the options and take a decision on the banning of Mosquitos in York.
The decision will now be taken by the Cabinet Member during December.
Decision:
RESOLVED: That Option 3 to ban the use of the mosquito on all CYC buildings and work with partners and traders to encourage the removal of them from other buildings within the city, be approved.
REASON: To ensure that the Council has a proportionate approach to tackling Youth related Anti Social Behaviour
