recommend replacing Transport Tokens with a state of the art secure
smartcard system. Scheme proposed to commence operation on 1 April
2010 subject to member approval.
Members are asked to: Approve officer recommendation to procure a
taxi card system to replace Transport Tokens in April 2010.

RESOLVED: That consideration of this report be deferred to a future meeting.
REASON: To enable further consultation and an Equalities Impact Assessment to be carried out in respect of the proposal.
