Purpose of report: Priority issues/areas for joint working with partners and stakeholders will be identified in the strategy for investment in private sector housing in York. This is a 3 year strategy - implementation of the actions will be carried out over the timescale of the strategy.

Members are asked to: Approve the new strategy, priorities and action

That the Executive Member be advised to endorse the Private Sector Housing Strategy and recommend it to the Executive for approval.

REASON: To ensure that the housing in York continues to be maintained and managed to a high standard
