Purpose:

Purpose of Report: Under the Police and Crime Act, the three year Community Safety Plan must be refreshed annually following a Joint Strategic Intelligence Assessment. Members are asked to note the content of the refreshed strategy.

Decision:

RESOLVED:     i)               That Cabinet approve the content of the refreshed Community Safety Plan, as set out at Annex A of the report.

                          ii)      That Cabinet approves the commitment of City of York Council’s role in the implementation and delivery of the Plan.

 

REASON:                           To meet the requirements of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, as amended by the Police and Crime Act 2006.
