Purpose:
Purpose of Report: City of York Council are working closely with
the Environment Agency in the development of flood risk management
schemes across the city, updates from both organisations will be
brought to the Executive Member for further consideration and
recommendation.
The Executive Member will be asked to consider the updates detailed
in the report and any supporting presentations, comment on their
content and recommended actions.

Resolved:
i. That the updated report and evidence presented by the Environment Agency be noted with the Executive Member’s feedback on all content.
ii. That the proposed amendments and updates to the consultation stage Humber Flood Risk Management Plan be endorsed and officer approval of the final publication stage document in June 2022 be supported.
Reason: To support delivery of flood resilience interventions in York across the wider River Ouse catchment.
