Consultation process
Consultation took place across York and North
Yorkshire in late 2010 via email and workshops with a broad range
of organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The draft strategy has been circulated for comment across key
partners in the City who will form the basis of the new partnership
group. The strategy and delivery plan will continue to be developed
and delivered via a process of consultation with partners and key
stakeholders who are represented on the partnership group.
The strategy also highlights the importance of ensuring that
workforce development and training is informed by the needs, views
and priorities of those who use services. This will be a key
priority of the strategy group going forward.
