Purpose of Report:

·       To provide an update on the Homelessness Strategy 2024-2029 as mandated at the outset.

·       To provide an overview of CYC’s services and funding arrangements in this area, with a future focus and update on wider sector – national strategy and changes to grant funding.

The Executive Members will be asked to:

·       Consider some building use changes in line with resettlement pathway changes.

·       Choose a way forward for the increase in stock of one-bed properties.

·       Hear an update on the Homelessness Strategy and status of all CYC resettlement services.

·       Understand the budget, finance and grant situation for the next 3 years across homelessness and rough sleeping.
