Consultation process
Officer consultation has taken place,
including engagement with funding partners. The Year 2 funding
agreement has been negotiated collaboratively by officers across
the Council and the York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority,
with advice from the Council’s Legal Services and Finance
teams. The Council’s Legal Services team were consulted and
have assessed the Grant Funding Arrangements to confirm compliance
with the Subsidy Control Act 2022. Legal Services will also be
instructed in relation to any onward grant agreements or financial
assistance to third parties, and on any service/supply contracts
the Council will commission, using this Grant Funding.
