Outside body

Purpose:

A Combined Fire Authority (CFA) representing the areas of North Yorkshire County Council and City of York Council.  The duties and powers of the CFA are contained within the Fire and Rescue Services Act, 2004, the framework within which all Fire Authorities must operate.   Further information about this organisation can be found at www.northyorksfire.gov.uk

Meetings

The Authority meets four times a year.  There are also committee meetings.  All meetings are day-time and are held in Easingwold.
