Purpose:

 

A councils’ discussion forum to promote effective working between local authorities and to ensure wider local authority representation, collaboration and co-operation on a sub-regional basis and effective sub-regional representation at regional and national levels.

 

Membership:

 

The Council’s representative is to be the Leader.  Substitutes are permitted.

 

Meetings:

 

There are four meetings per year, usually on Fridays mornings.

 

The City of York Council representative is Chair for one year every third year.
