Fair Access to Care Eligibility Criteria

Purpose of Report: The report will report on the consultation agreed by Council as part of the 2012 -14 budget, on proposed change to the eligibility levels for adult social care support in York.
The Cabinet Member is asked to: consider changing the Fair Access to Care Eligibility level for adult social care services in York to Substantial and Critical.

Consultation process

Consultation will be undertaken between May and June 2012 through targeted letters to customers, an online survey on the Council website, and information in York Voice for residents to access the online survey or paper based questionnaires.
