Autistic Service Crisis
We the undersigned petition the council to conduct an urgent review of autistic assessment and support services within the city of York.
We understand that city of York council may not have direct control over some services but as a stakeholder in the provision of services within the city of York and as representatives of the people of the city of York it is important that the views of the people of York are heard.
Parents are waiting months if not years for assessments and until children are assessed parents recieve no support from any services and are left to fend for themselves.
This cannot continue.
I am the parent of an autistic child waiting for assessment.
