Park and Ride Services have been funded by the
Council on the Askham Bar, Designer Outlet and Monks Cross since
2011. The objective of operating the Park and Ride is to enhance
the City Centre retail offer on this key shopping day. The service
has operated for free since commencing.
The cost to the Council of providing this service was £3,000
per route. The operator has agreed to offer the same level of
service at this cost in 2015.
The Acting Director of City and Environmental Services agreed to
fund the operation of Askham Bar, Designer outlet and Monks Cross
Park and Ride services at no cost to the passenger on Boxing Day
2015.

1) Agree to fund the operation of Askham Bar,
Designer Outlet and Monks Cross Park and Ride services at no cost
to the passenger on Boxing Day 2015.
2) Do not agree to fund.
