Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Decision:
Agree to the establishment of up to three
fixed term posts for a period of 18 month posts (to 31st March
2017), to be located within housing services. The posts will work
across all three of the council's hostels (Howe Hill for Young
People, Ordnance Lane, and Peasholme Resettlement Centre), and be
funded through holding two current Housing Support Worker
vacancies. Two posts will initially be appointed to and, subject to
a further vacancy arising, a third post will be appointed to. It is
envisaged that the first two post holders would be in place by
December 2015. The cost of two pilot mental health posts for 18
months would be a maximum of £16,253 and the cost of three
mental health posts would be a maximum of £24,379. This
additional cost will initially be funded from a realignment of
existing budgets.
