Purpose of report: Transforming Youth Support Services presents a review of the current City of York Council (CYC) Young People’s Services (YPS) and York Youth Offending Team (YorkYOT), and offers options and proposals on 3 interlinked areas of the new integrated service: • The York Youth Offer • Structure • Roles and Job Design. The Cabinet Member is asked to make decisions on the ‘York Youth Offer’; the overall structure of the new integrated service; and the approach to pursue in terms of roles and job design.
